The arrival of iTunes 10 for OS X has been quite an upset for 10.4 Tiger users. Who would guess that Apple would stop supporting Tiger, their own OS that has only been out for five years. However, they still support XP, an almost decade old OS. Apple's site states that iTunes 10 is compatible with 10.4.11, however I tried the installer and it failed saying that I require OS X 10.5. Is there anyway to modify the installer to prevent it from checking the OS version? Is there a way that I can trick it into thinking I have 10.5. I would really love to have the new features of iTunes and have damn compatibility with my new 4th gen iPod touch

How? I don't have a DVD and Apple doesn't sell it anymore. Besides, $199 is a little pathetic, since you can get 10.6 for $29. And I can't get 10.6 because my Mac is not Intel powered. (PowerMac G5)

Get a PC, seriously, I hate this Apple sh*t, where they stop supporting their own software, trying to make you buy more.
