Ok... so Ipod touch... 3G? 2GS?
Whatever you want to call it came out yesterday...
and none of you were happy.

Ok im not so dissapointed about the camera because i have a 5mp one on my phone, Only feature missing was a plain, simple Mic.

Well we cant do anything now can we?

Look at the good things at least.

    # Price reduction

    # Some said OLED screen... confirm if real please.

    # Oleophobic screen??.. confirm again.

    # 64gb for price of 32Gb

    # Faster processor like the 3GS.

So overall all it was missing was a camera and mic.

Lets face it, it was highly unlikely they were going to put GPS in it, or a freaking 5 mp camera like some people said.

Anyway, try and point out the good things so people stop crying.

    Thanks

    # Oleophobic screen??.. confirm again."

I don't see why people would whine. I just don't think that the 3G/2G2 is anything to write home about. I don't play games on my iPod, so the faster processor is nice, but it isn't exactly top priority to me. I mean, it'll probably be able to run Final Fantasy 7 on an emulator, but it's not an upgrade I would pay for.

OLED is a screen technology that results in an impressively bright and colorful screen. An oleophobic screen (note that oleophobic is not a real word) is a screen that has been treated to be fingerprint and smudge resistant.

Is that on the new ones though? I don't think it is.

I don't think the screen's OLED, considering the battery life went down from 2G to 3G because of the internal upgrades. OLED is supposed to be more battery efficient compared to LCD, so I think the battery life would remain the same or go slightly up from the 2G to 3G if the 3G had an OLED screen.

Price Reduction? Sure. But they got rid of the 16 GB and the 8GB is still the 2G, so if you want the 3G, you still end up paying more.

OLED? No. It has LED. OLED > LED. I'm not sure what it had before though, so I don't know if this is an improvement from the 2G.

Oleophobic? I'm almost positive it doesn't. The iPhone 3GS has an oleophobic screen. The Touch does not, from what I gather.

    32GB Price for 62GB? Yes.

    Faster Processor? Yes.
