    yes this is a rant

    Its called iPod Touch

Calling it an iTouch is relating it to the iPhone

Its an iPod!! Not a brother of the iPhone

    More like a half step-sister

    iPod Touch!

    NOT

    iTouch

Also I'm writing this on my iPod Touch and it wont auto-correct itouch but it will auto-correct iPod Touch

    Meaning that iTouch is wrong!!

    Alright I'm done

people usually abreviate it to iTouch to differentiate from the iPhone. although you could say "ipod touch" instead, iTouch is quicker to type, so i can see why people use that word.

In the proper context, I just call it the Touch. If there's no context then I refer to it by its full name.

But then I am a high ranking officer in the GPF*.

I've also seen it abbreviated as the "iPoT" or "iPot".

I've done that. I abandoned it due to the capitalization making it annoying to type. Touch is so much easier to pound out when the capitalization is on the first letter.

    pointless response right there.

I personally hate it when people call my iPod an iTouch, simply because i feel they are being too lazy to get that extra syllable out there.

iTouch or Ipod Touch? Its just as easy to say Ipod Touch. And this goes for typing also. How hard can it be? I just typed it twice and my fingers haven't fallen off!

Also, iTouch doesn't sound 'cooler', k?

    /end rant
