Its bricked

    okay so i went to remove jail-break, clicked restore while plugged in and on, downloaded firmware from itunes and it shut it down and said preparing for restore then it said it cant be restored and now it says software for this ipod is currently not available...

    someone help me!! how do i restore!! i need to get it working ASAP!!

    well how do i restore it?!?!? it wont let me restore or boot or anything!!!

    shift click restore, select the default 2.2.1 firmware you should have downloaded, stop spamming

    You have to select the firmware to restore from. Go into dfu mode first though.

    2.hold shift
    3.click restore
    4.select the default firmware
    5.let it do its thing

    Damn it people! Don't help him. If he can't take 10 seconds to just search, then he isn't worth helping.

    Also, learn what the meaning of bricking something is. It makes you look stupid when you say it's bricked, and prove yourself wrong a few lines down.

    You know what? We need to stop helping people like this who are completely oblivious as to what they are doing. He is obviously too 'out of it' to know how to figure things out on his own. If this was a legitimate question that required an answer that hasn't been stated over and over again countless times, I would be more inclined to help.
