I just used redTool to boot my ipod after jailbreaking it. after i went through the boot process the cmd prompt shut down. All there was left was the redtool screen with the 2 buttons "Try again" and "ipod Booted." Since nothing happened for about 10 minutes i thought it was done. (The itouch screen was white).

When i went to restore it to its original settings in itunes it wont let me!! Please Help!!!!!

I had the exact same problem, I just connected it to the computer and removed the jailbreak entirely. I am going to wait til it is an untethered jailbreak

1ClickBoot is the best in my opinion.

EDIT: Wait, try putting it in DFU mode.
Download 1ClickBoot from the redsn0w board and use it to boot it.
