    Hey.

Take a look at these stats -

    Ipod touch/iPhone
Max game capacity - 2 GB
    CPU speed - 620 mhz underclocked(Why???) to 420 mhz.
GPU - PowerVR MBX Lite 3D (Samsung S5L8900)
RAM - 128 mb of DRAM.

    PSP
max game capacity (capacity of a umd) - 1.8 GB.
    CPU - 333 Mhz
    GPU - Don't know

    RAM - 32 mb

    DS
max cartidge capacity - don't know, but easily less than 1 gb
CPU - one 67 mhz and one 33 mhz.
    GPU - don't know again
    RAM - 4 mb

When you put them side by side like that, the itouch owns with ease. I thought the itouch was just a mobile cell phone like gaming device, but it's obviously capable of much more.So why haven't we got big titles on Iphone and Itouch?

I think when it comes to portability the iPod touch/iPhone owns when it comes to gaming but when it comes to games like Real Soccer or emulators it lacks buttons and for me thats a major issue

    Remember, we're talking mobile gaming.

That is just like a bulky laptop.

I don't know if you have eyes or not, but if you look at the picture, there's a US quarter and a UK 10p coin for size comparison. It is only slightly larger than a DS Lite.

I do have eyes, and the picture must be just throwing me off.

    Do you have another picture?

EA are bringing out NFS and im pretty sure we will see some form of FIFA, also im pretty sure that under 1.1.2 the ipod touch only ever had 89mb of free RAM, not sure what it is now under 2.0

The CPU of the PSP and iPod Touch are different, so that 333 MHz = ~400 MHz

If your going by power then just look at the PS3 vs Wii, the iPhone/iPod is destined to fail. With me, it is because of the lack of buttons is going to make my DS and PSP my choice for my gaming needs. I'll use my iPod for my casual needs like Sudoku, Mahjong, card, etc.
