    hey everybody.

ive been uploading movies onto my iPod Touch 16G (2G). everythings been going fine and what not but i have a couple questions..

my movies are originally .AVI's, i convert them to .mp4 so that ill be able to watch them.

i am successfully able to watch the movies but, i noticed that the ENTIRE movie screen doesnt show and that parts of the screen are cut off, now im guessing its because the movie resolution is to large

but i was wondering, what exactly is the ipod touch movie resolution size? (ex. 324x450)
and with what program could I change the size to?

    thanks!

Resizing the movie isn't the best option as it makes things look deformed.
If it cuts off a little, double tap the screen while playing a movie and it'll make it fullscreen.
If it cuts off a lot, time to get movies in another resolution, crop or as a last measure resize.

I'm not getting full screen. I get black bands, on a long narrow "stretched" and distorted image.

Maybe I ought to make an Orb Live thread...

Okay, when you are watching in landscape mode. Look to the top right of your screen. There should be a box with to oppositely pointed arrows. Click that and it should go from widescreen (black above and beneath video) to full screen.

Full screen means 3:4 aspect ratio. When you double tap the picture/push the button with the arrows, it pan/scans the video to the Touch's 2:3 ratio.

Thank you, but this advice doesn't help in Orb Live.

The screen is 480 by 320.

I don't know how much this will help, since I've never used Orb Live, but I suppose that if all the source files were that size, the movie would display properly.
