I noticed my iTouch doesn't react to anything that touches it but my bare fingers. Like, if I'm wearing gloves, and try to navigate, it won't react. Can anyone help explain why?

Basically, the screen is sensitive to the electrical currents in your fingertips, but not to pressure like some touchscreens.

Ah, that's exactly what I thought in the beginning. That sucks. It's hard listening to it in the cold when I'm wearing gloves, lol. I have to use the volume sidebar and shake shuffle.

Do what i do. Get some regular fingermittens and cut a small hole where your index fingertip is. Works great, and i'm not cold

You can use a battery (Just something small like a AAA or something) as a stylus

Or you can just get a pencil, wrap it in aluminium foil, sand down the tip with fine sanding paper and use it as a stylus.

Use GlovePod from Cydia. When you double tap the home button on the lockscreen to bring up the music controls, you can then use volume rocker to change songs.
