Well as many of you jailbreakers know the MC Models are NOT pwned for life models. Im afraid though that the new Itouch 4th gen are MC Models.

Now i could be wrong, maybe others will get different models, but from the looks of it, they will be MC Models. So as a tip to the dev's out there, were going to have to find a "definite" jailbreak for MC models now.

If they have a new bootrom it'll be MD.

People just say MC to differentiate the iPod Touch 3G from the 2G since the hardware is so similar.

Every 4G iPod Touch is "fixed" until a new jailbreak comes out.

This thread is pointless. We know the new devices are going to keep or have an unexploited bootrom.
MC is a product line, not bootrom. The 3GS's prove that.

Well we have a bootrom exploit but it hasn't been released yet. Since Apple can't patch it, they still have the same vulnerable bootrom in the new iPods and iPhones. This is good news, you just don't know it yet.

Of Course they're going to be MC Models, why would Apple put an openly exploitable bootrom in a newer device ?

    Not even close.

By "we", you must mean Geohot, who left without releasing his exploit

Geohots exploit was tethered, so I really don't care if it's gone or here
