I am having issues with changing the volume via the screen on my iPod Touch 2g. When I slide the bar to the left or right, the circle indicator doesn't want to stay where i pulled my finger away. (sorry, hard to explain) The circle goes back to the original location prior to me changing the volume.

If I press the side buttons, the volume is rarely going up or down, which wasn't doing this before.

I have not jail-breaked or dropped my iPod.

    Any thoughts?

Update.... I just reset my iPod Touch and the volume seems to be working again as expected. I'm going to play around with it some more to see if I can reproduce it. I bought this at Best Buy and I'm still within my 14 days return window.

yes I recognized the same issue...it's a firmware fault, sliding the volume knob is not very fluently and sometimes the volume jumps back

Hope that the next firmware update will fix this problem

Thanks for confirming it's firmware related.
