Issue With Microphone

    Maybe it's just my device, but it would be helpful if someone else who owns an iPod Touch could test for me.

    When I record audio or a video, there's a clicking noise in the background... It sounds as if a camera is focusing (just comparing it to something)

    Could someone here record audio with the internal microphone and see if it's doing the same thing?

    I would just go to the Apple Store right now and exchange it. There should be no reason to accept that.

    But if it is happening to every iPod Touch, I would be getting the same thing.

    I also noticed this clicking sound in your video.

    It seems to be a common problem. Here is another iPod Touch 4G video with a clicking sound in the background:
