At the moment I have a Iphone 3gs and I love it but could sell it for £245 and pay £320 To upgrade to the 4g.

But is it really worth it is the 4g that much better will the new battery really last long enough to notice the difference what would u do ?

the b attery isnt the only difference. theres the new super high res display, the 512mb ram, apple a4 processor, new design, 5mp camera, front camera, led flash, noise cancellation, and the new antenna desing which should provide a better signal.

Upgrading from 3GS to iPhone 4 in my opinion is pointless. Just wait another year and you get something even better. For people with older models like the original iPhone or the 3G (me), its a significant improvement in everything, and a few added features. Going from 3GS to iPhone 4, waste in my opinion.

But TBH, ive had enough of the slowness of my 3G and willing to pay the early upgrade fee to get the iPhone 4. XD

I would say that if you would not be jealous of friends with an Iphone 4 or wouldn't mind not having the latest thing, you should wait out. I think yearly upgrades are wasteful and a smartphone should have the potential to last two years without need of an upgrade if it is good which the iphone is.

I know a guy who works at Apple and was testing it for 2 days before WWDC. He was under NDA, so didn't say much. Just said that 6 hours of usage on "this thing" brings it down to 80%.

I have a 3GS and think it's not worth paying extra to upgrade.

Would I like to have iPhone 4? Heck yeah.
    Is it worth it? Eh.

I'd wait for the next iPhone.

Also: I have the 4.0 GM candidate installed and the battery life is normal.

I have a 3GS and before when we thought it had 256MB ram I didnt think it was worth upgrading, but after finding out that it has 512MB, im considering it.

It'll be as smooth as butter, even if jailbroken.
