Is uninstalling mobile substrate bad?

    If I uninstall it temporarily will it kill my iDevice?

    it shouldnt. not having mobile substrate isn't a bad thing...

    I don't see why it would...

    It came without it, so why would it 'kill' your iPod if you took it away?

    Just remember it will auto-remove everything that depends on it, which will need reinstalled. An example of application that will be removed is Winterboard.
