I was looking at some iPhones on Ebay (they are still really pricey!)and found that.I wanted to buy the Instructions but it might be one of those BS websites that you need referrals.Does anyone know....

    Oh, those things.

I've actually heard of a few successful ones.
I've never heard of this one, though. Sorry.

Even if it works... You still pay for a plan, no?

Looks like bidding for these instructions has ended... Sure looks fishy but the seller has a 98% positive rating on eBay though...

It is most likely a pyramid scheme type thing. There have been quite a few, mostly legit.

The normal idea is that you have to sign up for a service and then convince x number of people to sign up for something (usually things like joining a betting site - £10 minumum, ordering a Credit Card etc.) Once you have x referals under your name, you get the item you picked.

Most people use E-bay to try and get their referals, hoping that peoples greed will entice them to sign up!

The only scam is that he is charging people for the information, but that way it looks like he has something worth selling!

I would only buy something like this if I knew I could find the other people to sign up as well! Since I can't, I never bother...

If anything seems too good to be true, it usually is.

    Scam.
