my ipod recently has a problem where it plays out of one side of my headphone only. i have tried multiple headsets and its the same thing so im going to bring it back. My friend told me that i can bring it into the apple store and have it switched out for another one. However, i bought the ipod touch at costco. I have the receipt and everything but costcos policy is for 90 days, is it true what my friend says?

Uh... just one of the connectors in the headphone jack is broken or something...

Take it to apple anyways, and tell them you got it at Costco.

    Restore if you jailbroken

Yes. Regardless of the place of purchase, all iPods have a 1 year warranty and Apple will most likely fix it. Just take it to the Apple store. You've got nothing to lose.
