Providers utilizing CDMA don't use SIM cards, so it's not possible.

Verizon is a CDMA network not a GSM, there is no possible way of making this work unless you rip a CDMA radio out of a verizon phone and install it into an iPhone yourself then write your own software for the phone to notice it then yea it will work.

I think iamkewl's resonating NO! should have gotten the point across. Along with the 30 other threads about how the iPhone will not now or ever work with Verizon, unless they start using a GSM network.

I dont think you realize how this works. There will not be a Verizon iPhone until Apple decides to make one. And it is not a simple tweak.

There will likely be an iPhone 2, a completely new and different device that if made after the exclusivity contract with AT&T ends, may have support for both networks, or they will simply make small differences in the hardware based on what network you buy it with.

But there is no way for the current phone to do it!
