I have a friend who has a 3rd Gen iPod Touch he got from Christmas.

So last week, he updated to 3.1.3 (not having it jailbroken yet). Last Monday, he jailbroke it with blackra1n. Guess what? It was actually working. Well at least that's what he told me.

Can someone actually confirm this if they had the time.

I guess I can try to test this, but I'll haveto do it tomorrow.

However, I doubt it. There is a chance that his iPod was actually a 2g, especially if its an 8GB.

    In didn't think Blackra1n could Jailbreak 3.1.3, even on a 2nd gen?

I'm pretty sure this won't work, i think the exploit Blackra1n uses was patched in the updated firmware.
