I have always wondered if this was possible. On a Mac, in Terminal if you type the command "say <message>" your computer will say whatever you typed. Would it be possible to make mobileterminal capable of doing that? I'm also requesting this so if you think you know how to do it, please try! Thanks!

You have to have an iPhone 3GS or a Late 2009 iPod touch. It's also not the say command. See High Caffeine Content.

However, we could make a command-line executable that reads all the args and it uses the VSSpeechSynthesizer, then just compile it and name it "say" and it could work like on a mac

I'd give it a shot, it should be only a couple of lines, but I have a 3G and not a 3G
