For those of us that think something went wacky, Please POST HERE. To start off I had one problem:
    computer:~/Desktop Ian$ ./iphuc
    dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libreadline.5.2.dylib
    Referenced from: /Users/Ian/Desktop/./iphuc
    Reason: image not found
    Trace/BPT trap

    Is that normal?

    no.

    from the itouch dev wiki-
    4. If you don't have libreadline, download it and extract the zip to your Desktop, then in Terminal, type this command: sudo cp ~/Desktop/opt/local/lib/libreadline.5.2.dylib or just put the opt folder directly in your HD
