    Hey,

Well I am brand new here, but been a lurker for awhile. Came to get some installer help for my IpoT, and saw so much good info I decided to bring another question up for all of you.

You see I am looking for my first Mac computer, and have a very LIMITED knowledge of computers in the first place. But I found a pretty good bargain on my local "Craig's List". However, I know nothing of it it is a good machine.....

The main things I would be using it for is school, music recording(garage band), and possibly a little gaming(nothing serious though). Mostly a good media machine.

Another paradox I am stuck in, is screen size. I don't want to go to big(however I really don't know how big big is) or to small.

    Here is the description....

They are asking a good price, and I just sorta want to test out if I like the Mac set-up before spending ALOT of cash. Also can they do many upgrades? Like Graphics Cards, memory, ect?

Again think for the help and can't wait to hear from you guys! -Tanner

you may want to check the condition of the laptop though
  3. if your pc is really good. try downloading vmware and create a virtual machine with mac. millions of tutorials just google. you can test out mac.

For 650, go for it. You have nothing to lose - a regular mb pro is much more expensive. Remember to check the condition.
