I updated and jailbroke my iPod touch 2G with the newest 3.0 Firmware today. The first thing I did was to pair it with my Bluetooth Motorola headphones and was very excited that it worked on first attempt.

Do we know yet if there is support for Bluetooth keyboards as well and if so does it matter what kind?

I write a lot of emails on my iPod.

Oh please, I did ask nicely.

I wanted to know if anyone had managed to do it despite what Apple said.

My search results have been coming up with pre-3.0 articles about how people have done it with the iPhone and an Apple Bluetooth keyboard. I wanted to know if anyone has tried with the iPod touch using 3.0 firmware and maybe other keyboards.

Thank you Teslanaut. I'll take your word for it, though if I do get my hands on an Apple Bluetooth keyboard it won't stop me from trying.

Maybe they want another $10.00 to enable it in their 4.0 Firmware update? lol

Well then you have my apologies, though you might have been more specific so as not to invoke the SEARCH hammer
