Most (like xilisoft, apex, videora, etc) support RM, but I really need a converter than can convert rmvb -> mpeg4/quicktime.
I have been searching for hours.

A quick search on rmvb on this forum gives equally frustrating results...

    anyone?

I'm using it now, but why does it give a shorter duration to files that are over an hour long?

For example, I load a source file that is 2 hours long. It will, however, only encode it up to 48 minutes.

It's a registered version, so it shouldn't be limited.

Try right clicking your movie in iTunes and click the convert iPhone/iPod thing, it might work...

Why not use Xilisoft to convert to say avi then use an ipod touch converter to convert to Mpeg4/Quicktime?

    (I recomment iPod Videora)

It might have a cut-off limit if it isn't registered.
