Is there away i can like put all my itouch apps on a computer program ( read details)

    So when my ipod freezes and i have to restore it i can esily put them back on insted of taking the time
    i heard its called backing up your apps or something like that

    I WILL RAISE ANYONES REPUTATION WHO HELPS ME

    Very simple, SSH your iPod, then copy your Applications folder onto your computer. Then if u restore your ipod, just replace the new Apps folder with the backup.

    Don't you just SSH into your ipod and copy the Applications folder to your desktop?

    yer, if you just copy the application folder to your desktop, make sure you copy the mobile folder to your desktop aswel

    Mobile folder? I didnt know that. Well thx for the info Ill know for when i bakup my ipod.

    What about files in the documents, downloads, and media directories?
    What about the files that need to be chmoded again when reloaded to
    the touch? What about files and apps not compatible with a newer JB
    if you want to upgrade? It's more complicated than it looks.
