Is there anyway to Use My Ipod Touch 4G as a webcam ?

    So i'm trying to use my Ipod for Skype on my computer is there a way to do this by connecting it to the computer and it being recognize as a webcam ? I'm not trying to buy any apps or anything just wanna know if there is a way to do this .

    other than facetime, i dont think so. I hope skype updates its iphone/ipod touch app to support the 2 cameras.

    I'm wondering if you can take a video with the front facing camera (a vlog for instance) and then upload it over WiFi directly from your iPod touch to YouTube.

    The back camera works for the Stickam webcam app so you can stream. Figured i'd throw that out there.

    i dont think it is possible because people would have already done it with the original iphone, or the 3 models after it. because it has been over 3 years. i would have figured out people would use this also for gaming and xbox somehow.. :0

    yeah. any video you take with either camera can be uploaded straight to youtube.

    There's an app for this, it's called iWebCamera. It works over wifi, and it works great if your wifi network is half decent.

    It's 5 dollars, but it doesn't use the mic, so prepare to get a mic for your PC/Mac

    You can do this. It is part of the camera app.

    Is there a way to use the ipod touch 4th generation to use as a webcam, but the other person is on a computer webcam??

    You can, actually. Look for iWebcamera in the Apple store. I've used it and it works great.
