iOS 4.1 Is there any userland jailbreaks coming out?

    why want that, when you could have a bootrom exploit

    Because bootrom is permanent, and I'd prefer a simplier, more removable jb that doesn't permanently jb my touch.

    The jailbreak will still be there, because it's a hardware exploit, not a firmware one.

    The jailbreak will come off when you restore..? The exploit just means you can jailbreak it no matter what apple tries to do..

    Wtf is the "hardware" problem? Is there literally a tiny hole in the NAND chips that software can be directly loaded into?

    Bootrom jailbreaks aren't hard? And they're removed with a restore.
