Is there any chance of Apple accepting emulators or p2p apps to Appstore?

I know they're pretty up their own ass about a lot of things, but would this ever be a possibility? I'd love to upgrade to a 2G Touch, but I'd miss Winterboard, Mewseek, and my emulators.

Is there any hope any apps like these would ever show up in the appstore, or is a 2G jailbreak just way more likely?

NOPE, Apple wouldn't allow apps that bring illegal stuff like peer2peer.
    So don't count on it.

No, because they think they know better than anyone else. They want you to "Think different" as long as it is within their own tiny world. Now, they are making think people that they don't firewire anymore.

Both those violate the rules of the SDK now don't they?

    Not in their current form.

Emulators would be great, but they wouldn't be accepted due to obvious legal issues. If there were any forms of NES or SNES games on the Appstore, they would come from Nintendo, and they would (most likely) cost money.

Customize/Winterboard would be great also, but the only way it will be implemented is if it's implemented in a firmware update, as it breaks the rules of the App store. Even then, I wouldn't hold my breath on being able to make your own themes, and Apple would probably make all the themes (and charge you for them).

Mind reading my other posts that I've posted lately before you judge me? I've actually been quite helpful.
