Does any body know How to visit full sites on the iPod instead of mobile sites?
In perticular sites it actually asks you at the bottom of the page if you want to view in mobile or standard, eg. twitter, facebook ect. but other sites i'm not to sure of. If the site your in says 'mobile' just after the http in the url, try deleting those words and just leave the normal web address.
Um, use Opera Mini?
there is an app on cydia for this, i forgot the name, any help
The SBSettings toggle UAFaker. Only way I can think of in Safari.
In Cydia there is an SBSettings toggle called UAFaker. In the app store there is a browser (actually, quite nice) called Atomic Browser and you can choose what desktop browser you want it to pose as, or you can choose the regular mobile Safari.
Yeah,i was going to mention that app i saw it on the app store last night but forgot the name,it seems to be a nice browser
opera browser and on some sites, there'll be a "Go To Main Site" at the bottom. just click and it's a full site. but i suggest opera because it's a bit more easier to navigate
I'm on the iPod touch 3g firmware 3.1.3 so... Yeh I'm kinda stuffed lol
Well if you have 99 cents to spend, I just bought this app today called "fakeweb" and it's full screen. I love it. You get to set any browser you want. So you can update your facebook profile and such. Things you can't do on the iPhone. Nothing is mobile formatted.. That's my best help.
Separate names with a comma.
