I was just wondering if there's a simple system command or tool or even App that lets you respring your iPhone?

Not that I know of, but a reboot is essentially the same.

    Hard reset?

Hold down the power button until the slider comes up. Then hold down the home button for a few seconds.

That isnt respringing either... it only closes the opened app (completely, no backgrounding).

The only way to restart the springboard on an unjailbroken device is to change the language.

I would say to just restart the device. (I mean, its not like your tethered)
