I find myself lacking in the overall space department lately, and I'm wondering if it's even possible for me to make my iPod 16gigs. I think I remember hearing that it's two chips though for the 16 gig (2 8 gigabyte chips) so I'm not sure. Could anyone shed any light on that?

I dont think theres going to be an 8GB model for the iPod touch 3G

And yeah, thats a better idea because a 16GB iPod touch 3G will actually be CHEAPER than a 16GB iPod touch 2G because Apple needs to compete with Microsoft's and Zii's prices on their also-"popular" products.

So expect a 16GB iPod touch 3G to be $220-250, from what I hear.
