is there a way to jb to 2.0 without losing music?

    pretty sure there is no way because you have to restore to the jailbroken firmware. just sync overnight.

    Maybe in a couple of weeks (or months) but so far the only way to JB is to pwn your firmware then restore.

    Jailbreaking 2.0 (Only way is to.. pwn it) requires you to do a restore. You can't get around that.

    i'd to that if I could but I have a new hdd and I don't have music here.

    ..or is there a way to copy music from ipod to hdd?

    There are programs that let you, sorry I don't know any off the top of my head, just google it

    yeah theres a way.

    quick guide:
    SSH in.
    find iTunes_Control (i think) in private/var/root/media or something
    copy music.
    youd need to search more.
