iOS 4.0 is there a way to enable wallpaper

    for ipod touch 2g. i know its not in ios4 but is there a way through cydia?

    is the wallpaper in ios4 the same function as winterboard?

    Kind of. Download OpenSSH and a SSH program on your computer and edit a plist by SSH.

    I wouldn't recommend it. The battery would drain a LOT.

    Download and jailbreak with redsnow, there is a box to tick that will enable wallpaper.

    Will enabling multitasking drain the battery alot? Even if i just have a few apps running in background

    If you have a zillion apps all running at once, playing music, games whatever it probably will suck the living daylight out of your battery.

    Use it wisely.

    It won't do any harm, just close all apps when you have finished with your iPod.

    I won't do that.. Also when i used backgrounder on 3.1.3. the most apps i had open was like 2 or 3

    I JB'd my 4.0 GM, and even when I wasn't using any high number of apps, the combination of multitasking + wallpaper made by battery go from 100% to 90% in almost 5-10 minutes.

    Yeah thats fine. The more you have open the slower it gets, good job the iPhone 4 has 512MB RAM
