iOS 4.0 is there a jailbreak program out for firmware 4.0.2?

    It depends what device you have, the iPhone 3G, iPod touch 2G and 3GS (old bootroms) can be jailbroken. New bootrom 3GS, iPhone4 and MC model iPod touch devices cannot be jailbroken on 4.0.2.

    As for your downgrade question, you're gonna have to share some info on what device you have to see if you can downgrade or not.
