iOS 4.1 Is there a Jailbreak for iPhone 3g on 4.1 GM?

    hey guys..
    im thinking of updating to the gold master version of 4.1 but just wanted to ask if theres a jailbreak for the iphone 3g?

    I think if it has the old bootrom, you can use redsn0w and just point it at the 4.0 firmware file

    Don't do it. B777forever tried it and said that their 3G had to be cut off by manual reboot and cydia takes even longer to load. You'd be better off waiting two weeks then checking again

    thanks for the replys, but i tried it anyway..
    my phone app has dissapeared :S
    does anyone know how i can get it back!?

    Hmmm. It worked for my iPod touch 2G.

    If the phone app is the only problem, dont restore cause theres ways to get it.

    Na, it wasnt..
    internet wasnt working and stuff so ive restored to stock 4.1 gm
