is there a fix to this?

    my ipod is jailbreaked and wrking fine, but when i go to put music on it from itunes it says that the sofware required for the iphone is not installed, run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again....... is there anyway i can fix this so i can put my music on my touch?

    I dont know exactly what your problem is but I am sure there are people on here who do.

    Though, they may not be online and if you are like me you do not have the patience to wait for them to come online.

    What I would do if I was in your situation is totally reset my ipod back to a pre jailbreak state, then try to use the auto jailbreak method (takes about 10 mins) which is quick and hope it works this time.

    Did you ever update your firmware before you jailbroke it?

    i have already re set it twice and it still comes up with this iphone thing. although when i plug it into a mac for some reason it reconizes my ipod the second i plug it it, on other pc's it comes up as a camera????

    You reset it as in turned it off and on pretty much or did you restore it through iTunes?

    I had the same problem, what i did was removed Itunes AND the Itunes mobile device manager in my control panel, reinstalled itunes and it works!

    i uninstalled itunes and still nuthing

    Are you saying you uninstalled iTunes from your computer?

    yes, i remember seeing somthing about moving a file somwheres so your ipod will be reonized on one of ipodtouchs masters videos could this be what i need to do?

    What I said to do was open up itunes and then restoring your ipod and starting over.
