Yes there are a couple of xpwns made by users here and there also winpwn at winpwn.com or pwnage for macs at iphone-dev.org
yea all i kno of is xpwn and winpwn
search my friend..
And how do I install these? Are there guides or something?
The guides are provided with the respective programs, also there are about a thousand around the forum
If you had to start a thread without searching.........
If you had to ask if there are guides "or something".........
If you didn't know what to look for in the first place...........
then I would hold off jailbreaking for the moment, it is more trouble than it is worth. This is not one of those "OMG try searching and using your brain n00b" replies, this is a genuine " jailbreaking 2.0 is a pain in the ass for the beginner at this time and gives no obvious rewards" replies
If you have a 1.1.4 JB iPod, enjoy that for the time being
If you have a 1.1.4 iPod then jailbreak that to 1.1.4
If you have a brand new 2.0 then just leave it a while, enjoy the free apps cos there ain't anything really useful on the JB at the moment
why is there no jailbreak 2.0 sticky about winpwn and pwnage?
I've tried to search the forum before, but it doesn't work usually.
I installed rockbox on my nano, so i've done something somewhat similar to jailbreaking before.
It's just that my I've only have an iPod touch for a week and I don't want to do something to mess it up. Last time I looked, people were mostly posting about mac jailbreaking and not pc (and the ones that were mentioning pc were saying it was a long process).
I just wanted an easier process but I guess not.
If you consider 15-20 minutes long then yeah. Winpwn is easy.
