    iknow there isnt on the 1g because there was a guy that got 1 without an OS and there was a big ass X over buetooth

    its correct that its a nike+ receiver but its stilll has un-activated features

    AFAIK the chip in question is an unspecified 2.4GHz radio transmitter, which is the spectrum used for WLAN/Bluetooth/RFID protocols (the latter of the three being the one used for Nike+).
    Wouldn't surprise me if we eventually (after a jailbreak) get an "RFID radar".
