Okay, I have experimented with many iPads before, and when I surf the web with them, I can clearly tell that they are using Wireless N. I have also heard that the new iPhone 4 has Wireless N support, and that the new iPod touch will probably have Wireless N. Here's my question: is there a noticeable difference with using wireless N on the iPhone 4 vs. using wireless g? I want to know so I can decide to upgrade to a new iTouch when they come out or not.

    Do you mean the 3G 32GB and 64GB? Because I own a 8GB 3G (obviously not supporting Wireless N.)

But anyways, is it noticeable on the 3G iPod touch?

EDIT: Just looked at the Apple website, and I believe you are wrong. No support for Wireless N.

No the 8GB are not 3G models only the 32 and 64GB models are the newer 3G models and while the 3G iPods have Wireless N apple has not released the capability of it yet.

I read somewhere that people need to know the keys to unlock the features, but nobody knows so they can't. I don't understand why they won't bother supporting these features tbh.

So they can release them with fw updates and make a big hype about it.

Apple would need to enable it. It's on the 3GS too. But I honestly don't see a difference on my iPhone 4.
