Is the iPhone OS 3.0 going to be available for iPod touch as well?

    if they stay with tradition then it will be a free update for iPhones and a paid upgrade for the ipod

    Since the iPhone is operated on contract (or at least apple thinks they are =P), the update is usually free for iPhone users, and a 'nominal' fee is charged to iPod Touch users.

    This is their excuse, anyway.

    Scandalous.

    And it will be jailbreakable, the hardware isn't changing.
    Plus, Dev Team can do anything in my opinion.
