Right now, I have a GeForce 9500GT (1GB). It can run most games smoothly, except I have to sacrifice HDR effects, and most of the time Anti-Aliasing/the right resolution.

Will a GeForce 9800GT (512MB) help me out at all? I'm looking to play games on Steam, The Sims, Oblivion, and maybe some GTA IV.

    I have 4GB's of RAM, and a Quad-Core CPU running at 2.4GHz. I also use W7.

I think if you wanna run GTA IV... you need a GTX 280 or something.

I bought the GeForce 9800GTX+ Superclocked a little bit ago.

I REALLY like it. BIG leap from my old 8600GT.

Just spend the extra money and get that, instead of the GT.

I'd go for a gtx 260 or a Radeon 4890, they're more expensive but both give great performance on games and are relatively cheap for being top-of-the line video cards.
