Definitely. I could never imagine carrying around that big of a device that functioned as a phone (even if it was an Apple product). Tablets, iPads, phones, and iPod Touches serve different functions of portability and performance, and 5.55" is way too big for a phone. I like the 4.3" devices, but anything past that is just getting a little out of hand...literally. :p

    I thought this was iFans.com?

It's a phablet, it's made for people who like the larger screen and its productivity. If you think it's too big, then get the Galaxy S3. If you think that's too big, get the Galaxy S3 Mini.

That's what Samsung is doing; giving you choices. Everyone has their own preferences. Just because you think it's too big doesn't mean everyone else might.

But of course, this isn't the website to discuss it (being iFans and biased).

I personally prefer bigger phones so no I don't think it's too big. It's up to personal preference not what everybody that probably has never used or even held it thinks.

Lol, next thing you know, there are 6" phones or even 7" phones, replacing the meaning of "tablet".

I believe its being discussed now. Personally to me, its big. People look silly with the first one on their face and it showed in pockets. However if its for you, then go for it

agreed! I've always enjoyed being able to text, answer phone calls, and just simply navigate through my phone with just one hand. I used my friends SIII the other day and there was no securely holding the phone in my hand and using it at the same time, and I've got some pretty huge hands lol the iphone 5 is easy because even with my case on it, I am still able to use my phone while having a good grip. The SIII forget it, like the posts reads, its more of a tablet than a phone, so I can't even imagine what this is like on the Note II. Sometimes, bigger just isn't better.

My iPhone 4 barely fits in some of my jeans. And I'm a dude. The only way this would work is if a woman with a big purse had it.
