Whenever I transfer a new theme to my iPod, I hit the 'Optimize Themes (1.0)' button in Winterboard.

Is it really worth it AKA does it ACTUALLY have an impact on speed (depending on the theme ofcourse)?

I believe it does. I always do it to new themes.

Btw when you optimise it won't show up on a computer anymore and it optimises all my images for some reason

There is a way to de-optimize them but it's a command line utility.
