I don't get it does this mean all iMacs from 2007 to 2011 are not going to support it?? I have a Summer 2011 iMac

wrong, that is the list of compatible macs.

I'm running Mountain Lion on my early 2009 white macbook. And when you go to about this mac that's what it calls it, "early 2009 macbook".

Runs quite well, takes longer to boot than snow leopard but everything flows great, even air drop works which I'm sure somewhere said it wouldn't be available on my mac

This is the one thing I'm not leaving without before starting school again.

No it means they are. All iMacs lower than 2007 won't be supported. Also, I have a mid 2011 iMac, too! :D

I have not had the need to upgrade my white macbook yet... I am still running 10.6.8
None of the features have really caught my eye as being worth the upgrade, and I use my mac almost everyday. One day I'll upgrade to whatever is the latest one.
