is my last resort restoring?

    ugh, well, no ones helping on my other threads so ill make anew one............

    heres the thing

    i try fixing installer cause it wont install things with BigBoss

    that wont work so i try the other method which requires me to SSH into my ipod

    well, i cant SSH into my ipod for unknown reasons, my other topic says, but no ones helping me

    so, shall i restore?

    What do you mean installer wont let you? does it crash when you try to download things??

    Just wondering, why do people think restoring as a last resort?
    It isn't that bad. iTunes backs up your setting, and all you have to do is transfer your music and videos back to it.

    Well, anything can be fixed without formatting a computer, so why can't it be the same with an iPod? You can just SSH with PuTTy and fix most of your problems that way.

    Or with the terminal. You don't NEED to restore to fix your problems.
