Is my battery SUPPOSED to be going down constantly while doing things?

Ever since I installed SBSettings and put in the numerical value of my battery life, I've been hesitant to use any apps or surf the web on it. I could surf the web for maybe five minutes and I can see as much as ten percent of my battery dropped. 5-6 comes back afterwards, but that seems like a huge fall regardless. Same thing for any apps. It' strange. Is it supposed to be this way? Or is my iTouch faulty with its battery?

The battery is complicated. Just re-calibrate it and see if that works, but otherwise, don't worry about it.

That's just the way the meter works.
