My sister's jailbroken touch is almost always synced to our home computer. But I wanted to restore and update the touch using my laptop. But after restoring and updating, now I noticed that some apps were restored, but not any music. I would assume that since I connected the ipod to my laptop, it would have all the backup data and so restore all the data back. But only apps and settings were restored but not any music.

Hopefully I'm not confusing anyone... Is this normal for the music not to be restored but only settings and apps?

Yes it is. The music won't come back from a back up. (unless you pressed update. Restore DELETES everything and backup only backs up the data not the music or apps. You need to sync them back to the home computer.

Actually, it turns out that something didn't go correctly.
For some reason, I get the following message whenever I plug in the touch and am prompted to resume restoring:
An error occurred while restoring this iPod (-402620415)

Haven't found anything online regarding this specific number....
The ipod runs smoothly, so should I bother trying to continue the restore?
