    hello again,

can anyone please tell me if is working? ive tried it many times and nothing happens, it just seems to quit to the main menu and do nothing until it sleeps. is that correct? or is something supposed to happen? it does say " wait until you see the unlock bar" but is that after it goes into sleep mode?

some help please not all of this knowledge is as straight forward as people think it is, for some it is less forward.

This is a planned FAQ post:

    20. or is not working for me!

You ought to see a progress overlay appear on your screen immediately after Safari closing. If you don't, the method didn't work, and didn't make any changes. You're free to immediately go back in Safari and try again. Often trying again a few times will do the trick.

Make sure that you have firmware version 1.1.1 (Settings->General->About). They won't work on any other version.

In addition, be aware that is on a high-traffic server and there may be outages. Try the other if one of the above doesn't work.

If both don't work, you may be behind some sort of proxy or on some sort of network that is either unreliable or does not allow HTTP 1.0 requests. In that case, the legacy methods of touchFree (use the 0.6 alpha) or iJailbreak are more likely to work. You still need to be able to visit a website in Safari on the touch, but it's a lot less finicky website.
