Is jailbreaking an iPod illegal?

    I ask if it is illegal because I was thinking of having a service on Facebook to jailbreak people's iPod's that are too lazy to do.

    No. It's against the EULA (End User License Agreement) but it's not illegal.

    It's only illegal if you have such programs or apps that lets you get free Paid things, such as apps, Cydia tweaks/apps, music, etc. So I guess you can just jailbreak it.

    No, it just voids your warranty and even that can be brought back with a DFU restore (or so I've heard anyway.....)

    If you're charging for the service, that may not be illegal, but it's highly immoral to charge people for something which you got for free.

    i heard somewhere that you can get paid big bucks for jailbreaking someone's iDevice...but im sure that's illegal.
