That should be more than fine for you :D

Also, what kind of programs do you usually use on Windows? Can you list them off?

personally, I prefer Mac. i have a MacBook and its portable fast and mine runs windows xp! i was so used to windows that i couldnt leave it so i decided to install it. macs r really easy to use, bit expensive, but i have had not one virus which is such a joy! every program runs fast, apart from Photoshop, and its the best ive ever had!;)

Apple's RAM is high-end and ridiculously expensive.

I just wanna point out that you can have your cake and eat it too.

Buy the mac. Enjoy the orgasmic goodness of Leopard.

Then go and use Boot Camp to install Windows. It's better to have the choice instead of being locked to one OS, in case you have any "must-use" Windows apps. The good thing about the whole dual-booting Boot Camp thing is VMWare Fusion. Let's say you have that one "must-run" Windows app. Fire up your Windows partition in Vmware Fusion, select unity mode, and run your program right in the OS X environment.

I love this feature. I'm typing this from my WindowBlinds-skinned windows FF. My WB skin looks pretty sick in the OS X desktop:

I dunno about you guys, but I always put my monitor at the highest possible resolution so that I have the most screen space. I don't like always switching between desktops. I tend to "live" in the current one and forget about open apps in the others.

The compiz cube with a space background is damn sexy though.

EDIT: And about my other post, I don't know if this would be possible, but you may be able to "clone" your current windows install to the Boot Camp partition, so you will be able to pretty much have your current system plus mac. I don't know if that's a particularly good idea, or if it is safe, but its worth posting.
