Hey, i was wondering if you guys think it is worth paying a bit more for an iMac than a computer running Vista. I could be looking at saving £200 to £300.

Just to give you guys some idea of what i use my current computer for:

    - Internet
    - Playing java games
    - MSN Messenger
    - Some C# coding
    - iTunes
    - Microsoft Office
    - I also run a lot of exe files. Can these natively be run on macs?

Another question i need to know is, will i be limited to the things i can run on a mac compared to windows, which i have used all my life. I just feel that moving to Apple may restrict my flexibility with my computer, however i could just duel boot windows using boot camp. Can i use my windows xp installation disks that i used for my current pc with boot camp again?

    thank you

Well it is your choice really. Prepare to have a ton of Windows Fanboys coming and scolding you.

But anyway. .EXE is a Windows extension. What apps do you use on Windows, I can find you (Most of the time BETTER) Alternatives on Mac OS X.

It can do everything on that list (I think C# coding too). And you'll feel more relaxed doing it lol. I've spent more time on Mac OS X than I have on Windows.

Also, dual booting is much more of a Breeze.
