I'm currently on a jailbroken 1.1.3 8 gig iPod touch. But when I need to restore ( probably pretty soon) should I pwn it?

I've heard of quite alot of people who screwed up their ipod's.

No. They are not the same firmware.

2.0 is the Update after 1.2.

My opinion is that if you do it right...it can't hurt. I've pwned like 4 times between pwned and stock. Whatever work for you though. If you like the pwnage way instead of some of the other jailbreak (not saying that pwnage is JUST a jailbreak) then go for it. I like pwnage better because its just makes more sense in my thought process, but hey thats me.

You can put installer on 2.0. But it won't do anything because it won't work.

Same goes for the 1.1.4 Apps.

What about what the front page says? That some guy compiled the source code through the SDK and that the apps worked(unless I'm mistaken)

I think no need to upgrade to 2.0 Beta.
